THE GLOBAL DEATH RATES AND THE 9 TRILLION USD HEALTHCARE SPENDING

American health-care spending, in 2015 was US $3.2 trillion and about US $12 trillion up to now.  The United States pays more on health care than any other country, a number so large, that is difficult to grasp its scale. To visualize, what we could have done with that money, we could spend in something like the “Belt and Road Initiative of China”, covering more than 68 countries, including 65% of the world’s population and 40% of the global GDP as of 2017. The bill for all that historical progress has an estimated cost of about US$ 8 trillion. We could have pay for that project and still have US $4 Trillion left to educate the world about nutrition.

Who Pays For This Astronomical Health Care Cost?

Global health care spending for all-cause medical conditions in 2015 were $9.7 trillion dollars, of which world government’s paid $5.8 trillion dollars and $2.1 trillion dollars from out of pocket. The U.S. paid a total of $3.2 trillion dollars, of which the U.S. government paid $1.6 trillion dollars and 326 million Americans has paid US $1.2 trillion dollars, in contrast to China, that paid only of $1.1 trillion dollars, of which the Chinese government paid $ 628 billion dollars and 1.379 billion Chinese people paid only $350 billion. Creating prosperity to your neighbors and savings to your people is the right way to lead the world.

What Is the Cause of this Financial Bleeding?

Cardiovascular disease is a top cause of premature death and disability in men and women worldwide. most countries have seen an increase in death rates due to high systolic blood pressure (SBP). Countries with the largest decreases in high SBP death rates were South Korea and Israel. In contrast, the number of global deaths due to high SBP increased, with China, India, Russia, the United States, and Indonesia has the highest numbers of deaths.

The largest decline in heart disease in the USA is NY with -2.5% and other lowest rates are seen in the states of Minnesota, Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont. While the highest rates are in the states of Alabama Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi. Everything has to do with nutrition.

The 4 top causes of this financial bleeding in the USA are Cardiovascular disease, cancer, mental disorders, substance abuse, and diabetes.

What is Causing this Chaos?

It is a very intricated problem that needs to be brake down to understand its complexity. Here are the threats:

Threat #1: The human body is a complex machine consisting of many separate, interconnected, individually vibrating machines. It is a chemical and mechanical factory within. It is most difficult to maintain so many inter-related processes and parameters, even with the most advanced computing power. The entire world has taken this challenge very lightly, without giving importance to the human need for the critical knowledge, to make people aware of the consequences of poor daily nutrition and how deficiencies slowly make us sick.

Threat #2: Chemically processed food is killing humanity. With nearly 7 out of 10 Americans being overweight, I in 4 being affected with diabetes or pre-diabetes, 2 of every 3 people is diagnosed with cancer today, the heavily processed standard American diet, SAD, is clearly a devastating factor in today’s and the future generation’s health.

2.1 Lots of Calories for Little Nutrition: Highly Processed foods over-stimulate the production of dopamine, aka the “pleasure” neurotransmitter, which can cause excessive cravings, leading to obesity, diabetes, and cancer. A fast-food burger plus fries and coke count to almost an entire days’ worth of required calories, causing excess weight gain without receiving the vitamins and minerals, the live enzymes and micronutrients, the high-quality protein or healthy fats the body needs to function and thrive.

2.2 Dangerous Food Additives: Many food additives preservatives, flavorings, colors, and other ingredients — while legal, they are not safe for long-term consumption. Studies show that various common food dyes, and the preservative, sodium benzoate found in soft drinks, fruit juices and salad dressings–cause some children to become more hyperactive and distractible. Phosphate additives magnify taste, texture, and shelf-life, but its effects cause cardio-vascular damage, rapid aging, kidney failure, and weak bones.

2.3 Fructose: now the number one calorie source in the US, diminishes feelings of fullness since it does not stimulate a rise in leptin, a hunger and fat storage regulator in the body. Fructose also reduces the amount of leptin crossing the blood-brain barrier by raising triglycerides. Leptin plays a significant role in the development of heart disease, obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, autoimmune diseases, reproductive disorders, and rate of aging.

2.4 GMO-Genetically Modified Organisms: Some 75 percent of processed foods contain 3GM ingredients, which are increasingly linked to serious health problems. The foundation of most processed foods in grocery stores today spring from laboratories, not nature. Genetically modified organisms (GMOs), have been linked to infertility, organ damage, and cancer.

2.5 Monosodium glutamate (MSG): a flavor enhancer, is added to thousands of processed (canned soups, crackers, meats, salad dressings, frozen dinners, chips, etc), and restaurant foods. MSG is popular, because it enhances the flavor of food, making processed meat, frozen dinners and salad dressings taste fresher, and canned foods less tinny. However, it is also an excitotoxin, which over-excited brain cells causing varying degrees of nerve damage or cell death, and triggers or worsens learning disabilities, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, diseases and more.

2.6 Fake food spoil your mind: Consuming junk food can cause people to become angry and depressed, have brain fog and difficulty in concentrating. Nutritionally-dense foods levels mood, maintain energy and fosters productivity.

2.7 Processed foods are filled with pesticides: The GMOs used in processed food are grown by applying glyphosate along with other pesticides and herbicides, which end up in the crop.  Some breakfast cereals out there contain up to 70 different types of pesticides, fumigation chemicals, and other residues.

Threat # 3:  Unplanned high temperatures lose their nutrients and medicinal properties: People have been accustomed to cooking without awareness of high temperatures destroying the nutrients, and never considered the fundamentals of eating nutritiously.

Threat #4 : Unhealthy ratios of the critical nutrients are off,  due to the overwhelming presence from omega 6, calcium and sodium in foods everywhere as consequence most people worldwide consume far too much of omega 6, calcium and sodium and far too little omega 3, magnesium and potassium, in a world that lacks awareness between the link of diet and chronic diseases, creating another nutrition challenge.
